Piece Of Advice

Here's a piece of advice for you ladies (and some men) out there. Don't watch the movie "Sex And The City" and then go to the gym the next morning. I noticed every bulge, curve, and flexed muscle on the man across from me working out. It was all I could do to hold this kitty cat back.

Love Favors Some

Why is it that when I moved away from home, I didn't leave my demons behind? Isn't part of moving to a new place, part of moving on from what I was? It was my option to leave them behind so why take them? Why? 

In my opinion the intangible demons are the worst, that's what I have. Unlike the tangible ones, (alcohol, drugs, porn, food) there's a book and a plan for those. I have always found God to be the best answer, but sometimes the anger I have at Him is so deep. I just can't go there. I know as a Christian, that's the wrong things to say, but it's a honest thought. It's at this point, I want someone to hold me and say it'll be alright, even if it's not. Unfortunately, that's not usually an option. So Then what? Then nothing! Love just seems to favor some more than others.

Fat Straw

I believe I'm only going to live once (unless there's something I don't know) so I'm going to make the most of it. I had heard great things about this place called "Fat Straw" a few blocks from where I work so decided to check it out. From what I heard, I assumed (first mistake) that it had regular type  shakes and smoothies. Well..... I was kind of right. They serve a product called Bubble Tea, which I had never heard of before. Let's just say that I should have researched it before I went there. The guy was less than helpful to this virgin Bubble Tea drinker, but I forged my way through and ordered a Black Tea base with Fruit Tea and "the balls" at the bottom. Not a good decision! For the price, I should have just went to Starbucks and forked over the cash for something I KNOW I like. But, where would the adventure have been in that??? That was the whole point! I don't have plans on returning any time soon, but Starbucks..... here I come!
